Questions about PDF to PowerPoint
- Can I edit the text on the slides?
- No. Each page is placed as a picture, which keeps it looking exactly like the PDF. To get editable text, use PDF to Word and copy what you need.
- Why use pictures instead of rebuilding the slides?
- Because a rebuilt slide that shifts every text box and loses its fonts looks broken in front of an audience. A picture of the page is always right.
- How big will the presentation be?
- About the size of its page pictures: each page is drawn at 150 DPI and saved as a JPEG, so the file grows with the number of pages. The result row shows the measured size of the presentation that was made.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. This tool runs inside your browser tab, so the file bytes are read and written on your own device and are never sent to us for processing. Closing the tab discards everything, which is also why results cannot be restored after a reload.
