Questions about PDF to Word

What does PDF to Word keep?
The text, split into paragraphs, with larger text marked as headings and each PDF page starting a new page. Pictures, columns, tables, colours and exact fonts are not rebuilt, so this is best for documents where the words matter more than the layout.
My PDF is a scan. Can I still get Word?
A scan has no text to convert, and the tool will tell you so. Run it through the OCR tool first to make a searchable PDF, then convert that.
Will it look exactly like the original?
Not exactly, and no browser converter can promise that. The content is rebuilt in the new format, so fonts, spacing and complex layouts can differ. Check the result before you send it.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs inside your browser tab, so the file bytes are read and written on your own device and are never sent to us for processing. Closing the tab discards everything, which is also why results cannot be restored after a reload.
